When you visit Roska Healthcare you walk through a modern, industrial space plastered with posters and punctuated by sleek glass conference rooms. Then, in our sunlit kitchen you find the core of the agency. The fruit basket. It’s always filled with fresh fruit. Sure, we have great health benefits, 401K, and all that stuff, but our daily dose of fruit is an important perk. As are our summer cookouts and our popcorn machine.
It all represents giving and caring. Which is why there’s a constant parade of birthday cakes (gluten-free for one of us), anniversary cakes, Mardi Gras King cakes, it’s-a-killer-deadline cakes… All this giving and eating puts us in the mood to share the love, which is exactly what we do with Roska Healthcare.
Roska Healthcare is our outreach program to give back to the local community. Each quarter we focus on a different cause. We have collected cash and clothes for Dress for Success, an organization that helps women find jobs. On Bring Your Dog to Work Day, we collected supplies and cash for the SPCA. We have collected for a local food bank. Over the winter holidays, our kitchen is packed with chocolate and decadent goodies, plus a couple of sleighs full of Toys for Tots.
We’re a group of people who care about our community. Check out our photos and you’ll see that we care about more than food—we also love to dress up in silly costumes.
